- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Rave reviews from two very complicated people. My husband is gluten intolerant, I'm intolerant to dairy, eggs, and red meat; aka we're a very complicated order and tend to annoy chiefs. Without poisoning either of us (which is sometimes hard to do), they amazed all expectation. The salt and pepper squid was gluten free and made fresh to order. And it was seriously the most fantastic salt and pepper squid ever (gluten free or not). My sandwich was switched to exclude all dairy and eggs without a moment's hesitation. The service was a less than amazing, but we came at an awkward time. The food was pricey-ish 18 dollars for the squid- but it came with a large salad, is pretty standard among non-pub foods, and neither of us walked away unsatisfied. Coffee was also pretty good; not quite up to Bathurst's Ellie's, but close. All in all, quite amazing and definitely heading back there next time.By Christina Duckworth, December 26, 2016
